John Luong | Bachelor of Applied Sciences and Master of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
John Luong graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney, Cumberland College of Health Sciences, and went on to complete a Master’s in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2002 at the same institution. He has been a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association since 1996 and a titled member of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia since 2002.
John is accredited by the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) to treat WorkCover and Compulsory Third Party (CTP) claims, and is also fully accredited to treat under Medicare, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and all private health funds.
His special interests include orthopaedic rehabilitation (particularly post-operative), general musculoskeletal conditions, pre-employment screening, and chronic pain management. John provides a wide range of services such as manual therapy, exercise prescription (both home programs and supervised sessions), kinesiology sports taping, dry needling, ultrasound, and interferential stimulation, ensuring a comprehensive and tailored approach to each patient’s recovery.
